Kilroy Silk upstages UKIP

UKIP was dealt another blow in a seat it was contesting against former party member Robert Kilroy Silk. Kilroy-Silk managed to poll 2,957 votes in the Erewash constituency, coming fourth in a seat won by Labour´s Liz Blackman.
Mr Kilroy-Silk got more than three times as many votes as the UKIP candidate, Geoffrey Kingscott. To make matters worse Kingscott received 400 fewer votes than BNP candidate Sadie Graham by trailing home in sixth place.
