BRITAIN'S FINAL FRONTIER?

Despite William the Conqueror having died in 1087, UKIP are once again fearing a Norman invasion in light of a secret cartographical machination that would grant Brussels "the right to change national boundaries".

Zoikes!

The Directive on Spatial Information, seeking to engender improved cross-border co-operation and policy harmonisation, means, for UKIP at least, that the South East of England will naturally be handed over to the French.

Quel horreur!

Not to mention the East of England being carved up between the Benelux and Germany.

Mein Gott!

Whilst UKIP have interpreted this to be an overt federalist attempt to establish a United States of Europe, the rest of us here on terra firma have noted the benefits of closer environmental and health co-operation that the Interreg Project, the inspiration behind the directive, is providing for EU citizens.

In any case lads, you can sleep easy as the Commission will always uphold your human right to remain insular, arf!

UKIP have breathtaking hypocrisy to criticise European Union waste. Perhaps they should take a close look at his own party and remember the old saying about those in glass houses not throwing stones!
UKIPs 10 MEPs are nothing more than massively expensive parasites with their snouts deep in the trough of EU cash. The EU provides UKIP with £1.5 million of EU money to fund their party and once you add the cost of staff and facilities, wages and expenses then UKIP’s 10 MEPs cost the taxpayer a staggering £5 million every year.
Last year UKIP received £170,000 in EU money to pay for a 2 million signature petition on membership of the EU. After a few months this petition campaign was quietly abandoned after only a tiny fraction of signatures were collected. UKIP wasted £170,000 of taxpayers money - will they be giving the money back?
For a party who have lost half their membership in just 2 years and now have a little over 16,000 members they must be very grateful for the EU subsidies that keep them running.
We should also look at the financial incompetence of those that run UKIP. At the recent Bromley by-election people who paid donations towards the campaign found it being paid to a UKIP MEPs credit card! The campaign cost £75,000 and UKIP only got 2,000 votes.
UKIP had a fund raising call centre in Ashford that took 85p of every £1 raised in ‘expenses’ and ‘running costs’ so if somebody donated £100 only £15 would go to UKIP!
And for people who think they are backing a separate political party I would like to ask why is the new leader of UKIP Nigel Farage making deals not to stand UKIP candidates against certain Conservative MPs?
Since being elected in 2004 UKIPs MEPs have done very little to campaign to get Britain to quit the EU - still you wouldn’t want to bite the hand that feeds you would you!

Surely this is a betrayal of voters thinking they would be voting for a seperate political party. Vote UKIP get tories?

The petition has not been abandoned.
This is yet another example of incorrect information being posted on UKIPwatch.
I should set up a Richard Corbett watch blogsite as he is scary with his EU is great views.
