New Head of Press for UKIP?

The Guardian is advertising for a £75-£85,000-a-year head of press for an “established” UK political party, and applicants are invited to apply to William Dartmouth. Dartmouth is a UKIP MEP, so one can only assume UKIP is looking for a new spin doctor. Nowhere in the job ad does it specify which political party it is. Is UKIP so unpopular that they think identifying themselves might put off prospective candidates?
